Good evening, Eagle families. This is Ms. Palmer with your announcements for the week of April 7th through April 11th. Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade chorus for winning first place at Music at the Park yesterday at Busch Gardens. We are so proud of you! This week, Artsplosion will be held at Edgecombe Community College. Our chorus will perform on Monday, April 7th, beginning at 6:00 pm, and visual arts will be displayed and recognized. Thank you to everyone who helped raise money with our PTO's Tidal Wave fundraiser. PTO will meet in the media center on Monday, April 7th, at 6:00 pm. Our third, fourth, and fifth-graders begin their next NC Check-Ins this week. Please refer to the attached schedule for the exact date your Eagle is testing. On Thursday, April 10th we will host Muffins in the Morning for our 2nd-5th grade families. Please join us in the multi-purpose room for fellowship and fun from 7:00-7:30 am. Our 2025-2026 parents' PreK and Kindergarten registration is on April 10th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All students who register next week will be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket from Down East Partnership for Children! Our school-wide read-aloud of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will continue on Monday with new guest readers. We hope you and your family are enjoying exploring Willy Wonka's wonderful world. A Chorus parent meeting will be held tomorrow, Monday, at 4:15 pm to discuss the Busch Gardens trip. Our PTO Car Wash fundraiser ends Monday, March 31st. Thank you for supporting our PTO and purchasing $10 Tidal Wave vouchers for a $30 car wash. These vouchers are perfect for pollen season and Easter baskets. On Thursday, April 3rd, we will have our Spring Arts Showcase. Our kindergarten, fourth grade, and chorus will perform, and their visual arts will be displayed. Good evening, Carver families. This is Ms. Palmer with your weekly updates from March 24th to March 28th. We are excited to continue our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory read-aloud this week with new guest readers, Monday-Thursday. Our Eagles participated in trivia, hoping to earn the most points for their homeroom. Our PTO is hosting a Spring Car Wash fundraiser that ends on Monday, March 31st. The top fundraiser will be the principal for the day, and the second top fundraiser will be the assistant principal for the day. Report cards will be sent home on Tuesday, March 25th. Please reach out to your child's teacher with any questions. On Wednesday, March 26th, we will have our class and spring picture day. Students should have brought home picture information last week.
